About the Artist

From commuting all the way from NJ to the Aveda Institute in SoHo (because who doesn't love a little adventure?) to wrestling with bleach burns and the occasional accidental finger cut, my journey in hairstyling has been nothing short of a rollercoaster. After surviving the trials of an apprenticeship at Soon Beauty Lab (the mothership salon in Chelsea and two other salons in Fort Greene and Carroll Gardens), I finally became a stylist in 2018! It was worth every headache, and I enjoyed learning techniques from people who came from all different corners of the globe. When COVID tried to throw a wrench in my plans, I dusted myself off, got my license in NJ, and opened my own salon suite in 2023. Now, there's nothing quite like the smile on my clients' faces when I remove their capes. That's the real magic, because I want you to look beautiful.
